The Division of Academic Affairs is the catalyst for the academic excellence that defines Texas A&M. The mission of the Office of the Provost and the Division of Academic Affairs is to empower and nurture Aggies to succeed in experiential and transformational education and discovery to meet the needs of a complex world through the strategic development, effective delivery and strong support of excellent academic programs and services.

On March 1, 2022, the United States Department of Education notified Texas A&M University – College Station that we have been designated as an eligible institution under Title III and/or Title V of the Higher Education Act of 1965, amended by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008.

Accreditation

Texas A&M University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels.
